Liana Harutian

Admitted to practice in New York, Liana received her J.D. from University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2019 and her B.S. cum laude from Cornell University in 2013 where she majored in Applied Economics and Management with a concentration in Finance.

Prior to starting her legal career, Liana was an analyst and later an associate in investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. During her time in law school, Liana assisted and counseled low-income pro se litigants on family law matters—including custody and child support—as part of Philadelphia Legal Assistance’s Custody and Support Assistance Clinic.

After graduating law school, Liana joined Davis Polk as a litigation associate representing clients in white collar, regulatory and civil litigation matters, including investigations by government agencies, internal investigations, and shareholder derivative suits. Liana also has notable experience in pro bono matters including representing a client in a custody trial. Most recently, Liana was affiliated with the matrimonial litigation boutique Cohen Clair Lans Greifer & Simpson.

Liana was born in Yerevan, Armenia and is fluent in Armenian and conversational in Russian.
